Shipment statuses

Orders expose a lifecycle status. Webhooks report the same values.

You can cancel via the Business API only while status is PENDING, ASSIGNED, ACCEPTED, or START_TRIP. See Cancel order. Use status, previous_status, and occurred_at from webhook payloads when correlating updates. See Webhooks. ASSIGNED is a presented status. When an admin sends a trip to a rider, the order keeps stored status PENDING with assigned: true. Admin, business, and webhook payloads still show ASSIGNED until the rider accepts.
